너무 슬픈 일이 많다.

슬픔 마음, 우리 모두 슬픈 마음.

천개의 바람으로.

 

차가운 바다에서 생의 마지막을 보낸 내 나이의 친구들, 안녕.

그곳에서는 행복하기를.

난 거기에 없어요. 난 잠들지 않아요

나는 흩날리는 수천 개의 바람이에요

나는 눈 위에 보석 같은 반짝임이에요

나는 여문 곡식 위에 햇빛이에요

나는 보드라운 가을 비에요

당신이 아침의 고요 속에 깨어났을 때

나는 원을 그리며 비행하는 평온한

새들의 재빨리 솟구치는 비상이에요

나는 밤에 빛나는 부드러운 별들이에요

내 무덤 가에 서서 울지 마세요

난 거기에 없어요. 난 죽지 않았어요
